Clavicle Fractures and Post surgical Rehab

by DrMikeStretcher / 0 Comment

Having flexible shoulder muscles is vital  so you don’t get injured. TheraStrap makes that possible.

Athletes put there bodies though intense workouts that involve multiple joints and multiple muscles.  Using TheraStrap improves the flexibility of all the shoulder muscles including the Rotator Cuff, the Deltoids,  the Levator Scapula and the Rhomboid muscles.  What most people don’t know is that for every 1 degree of range of motion that the ball joint of the shoulder moves, the scapula needs to move (wing-out) 2 degrees.  If there is any restriction to the Rhomboid muscle usually in the form of scar tissue knots (trigger points)  the shoulder blade will not move through a normal range of motion.  When this happens, any activity will cause micro trauma and tearing to the other shoulder muscles especially the rotator cuff muscles causing inflammatory fascitis and tendonitis that leads to scar tissue formation and you lose even more range of motion.  Scar tissue inside the muscle often referred to as knots holds that small section of muscle in a spasm state 24/7 so it is like that part of the muscle is working out all day and all night. it can’t relax even when you are asleep.  This spasm state produces lactic acid which causes that constant burning achy pain and can radiate pain down the arm and up into the neck and head.

Athletes put tremendous stress on the arms and shoulders during all phases of their workouts. Having flexible shoulder muscles is vital for cross-fit athletes so they don’t get injured. TheraStrap makes that possible.
